A Hike into the Park

We took a great hike into the mountains just about a mile from our house. There so many interesting wildflowers. And such weird and interesting birds everywhere we go. There is an ongoing volcanic eruption in Chile so, depending on the winds we have some volcanic fog drifting in and out of this area.

The flowers above and below are a wild fushia. Very tiny.

The trees along the trail are tall, mysterious and fabulous.

A wildflower similar to a honeysuckle only smaller.

A lovely waterfall along the trail

The view from the deck of our house 15 miles west of Bariloche.

The view from inside our living room.

After our hike today, cooking out on the parilla (grill) - Argentine style!

Location:Patagonia- Bariloche
